Train over zoom with Sifu Robyn
Dragon Crane's Qigong Teacher Training program is scheduled by appointment with Sifu Robyn. Teachers learn via a combination of Zoom or In-Person sessions. No experience is necessary to become a teacher under Dragon Crane; however, your previous experience is considered as we develop your learning experience.
Expectations
- We expect teachers in training to practice what they learned from the previous session every day.
- We expect teachers in training to learn and understand the history of the art.
- We expect teachers in training to honor and respect all people without judgement.
- We expect teachers in training to represent Dragon Crane and its programs with integrity and honesty.
Process
- Sessions are scheduled directly with Sifu Robyn and will take place weekly on Zoom.
- As you progress in your training, you will be expected to demonstrate your abilities during these sessions.
- At the end of your program, you will submit a video of yourself demonstrating the Level for which you are training as well as a written test of your knowledge. After passing these two elements of your training, you will need to set up a live teaching experience with an individual, or small group. You will then submit a video of this experience.
- You will need to submit a new video for each level of certification you pursue. You must actively teach a level for 12 weeks before pursuing the next level.
- Once all of these elements are reviewed and approved by Sifu Robyn and Master Jeff Larson, you will participate in a virtual promotion ceremony and receive your certification in the mail.
Cost
- Generally, Level I teacher training runs 8 weeks and costs $300. There is a $60 promotion fee for certification.
- Level II training typically runs 16 weeks, $620, with an $80 certification fee.
- Level III Qigong is advanced and will also require 16 weeks of training at $620. The certification fee is $120.
