Video learning modules at DragonCrane

Yes, it is entirely possible to learn Qigong and Karate online. Our video modules are recorded live and are super incremental so you can learn step-by-step each form, exercise or movement sequence. Our online programs include all the information you need to learn, but they cannot entirely replace the experience of building community with an instructor and fellow students. That's why we offer opportunities to gather via zoom and in-person workshops or retreats. As those opportunities come available, you will receive an invite as an online student.

The Qigong Program
Ting Sing Levels I and II are offered online, along with the Strong Balance movements of DragonCrane and the Eight Brocades. You may use this program as the basis of a Teacher Training, but certification can only be administered after all of the teacher training components are completed with Sifu Robyn. After signing up and creating your account, details for teacher training will be in your account.

The Shaolin Kenpo Program
This program is a step-by-step walk through each of the belt levels of Ralph Castro's Shaolin Kenpo Karate. As an online student, you will start at the White belt level, and may earn your way to Black belt. Special attention is given to the Kenpo Dances, which require working with a partner to learn well. For this reason, the belt track will require once- or twice-per-year training in the Twin Cities. Optionally, if you study with a training partner, you may be able to submit a proficiency video in lieu of traveling to the Twin Cities.

Online learning requires a paid membership to Dragon Crane. To enroll in one of both of the online programs, simply sign up for one of our online classes and begin your journey!

I have been taking QiGong classes with Sifu Robyn for several months now and can feel the beneficial effects in my body and mind. I always feel better after every class. As I age, Qigong is the perfect class for me. Anyone at any age or physical ability can learn and practice it. No special equipment or clothing is needed. It meets me where I am on any given day.
- The in-person class with time for questions, explanations and demonstrations is very helpful.
- As a result of the class I have noticed an increase in my energy level. I am less stressed. I feel physically and emotionally stronger and more flexible. The benefits are subtle yet profound which reflect my opinion of the actual practice as well.
