A quick word about taking care of yourself in class.
Warm up - 10 minutes
Short sequence Ting Sing Qigong for breath work and dynamic stretches, common before a full kung fu or karate workout.
Aerobic - 15 minutes
Karate is one of the original high intensity interval training. Punching sequences, mitt work, stance shifts, high knees, kicking, and more will et your whole body moving!
Agility - 15 minutes
At the core of Shaolin Kenpo is agile movement. It comes with the forms that are multi-directional, quick-slow, inhibition training, counter rotations and speed.
Cognition - 10 minutes
Both our qigong and kenpo arts train balance, sequencing, and mind-body connection.
Cool Down - 5 minutes
We close with the distinctly relaxing and meditative elements of our Qigong.
Questions - 5 minutes
5 minutes at the end of each class is reserved for questions.
